A (ski) family business

We're three siblings who grew up racing and coaching in Canada, building something we wish had existed sooner

Ryley

Ryley

The oldest. Ryley began coaching while still racing (and keeps coming back...). Off the hill, he’s founded and run successful software companies, and is the main point of contact to learn more or get set up with SkiCam.

Roni

Roni

The middle child. Roni spent nearly a decade competing on the World Cup and brings that athlete’s perspective to SkiCam. Today she works in fintech but you’ll still find her ripping around - on skis, bikes or her own two legs.

Austen

Austen

The youngest. Austen didn’t race quite as long as his  siblings but that gave him an early start on coaching. Today he works as a software developer building brain-performance software and helps develop SkiCam.

How it all began

We're three siblings who grew up racing together and have all coached to varying degrees over the years. Over time, as technology improved, we couldn't help but notice: the way teams used video hadn’t really changed. So we started talking. Ryley and Austen brought software and coaching experience, Roni brought a decade of racing on the World Cup, and before long the idea of SkiCam took shape.

What drives us

Always improving

We’re not racing anymore, but the mindset hasn’t changed. Just like the athletes and coaches we work with, we’re always trying to get a little better every day.

Building together

SkiCam continues to evolve through the coaches and teams who use it. Your feedback and ideas play a huge role in shaping what we build next.

Empowering athletes

We want to give athletes the tools we wish we’d had. So much goes into a successful season and we hope SkiCam can help athletes of all ages.

The community

We grew up in this sport and still spend time around it today. Ski racing is a tight-knit community and SkiCam is built with a genuine love for the people who make it special.
